My Dog at Heaven's Gate

A Poem 

I will not go in,

I would rather stay here,

Outside this Big Gate.

I will not be a nuisance,

I promise not to bark,

I will simply just wait here.

I will not make a noise,

I promise to just be silent,

As I lay here patiently.

I refuse to move from here,

No matter how long it takes,

Because I miss you so much.

I refuse to walk through the gates alone,

Because if I went in without you,

It would not be heaven for me.
